What is Microsoft Certification?

Microsoft offers a series of certification exams on a various networking topics. Passing these industry standard exams provides tremendous salary opportunities to Windows 2000 students. These certification exams are computerized and provide instant performance feedback.

• If students pass one exam, they can receive a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification. This certification alone can open doors to many corporate job opportunities. De Anza offers several courses that can help students achieve MCP certification.
• If students pass seven exams, they can receive a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification. This certification is in great demand. The average salary for an MCSE certified employee is $72K/year. Two of the seven courses required for this MCSE certification are offered at De Anza College.
• Each time students take one of these computerized, multiple choice, objective certification exams, they must pay a $100 fee to a testing center.
• Certification exams are difficult to pass. De Anza’s Windows NT and Windows 2000 courses help students pass these exams.
