Steps To Enroll

1. Decide what Windows certification classes to attend.
• See our Certification Course Offerings.
• For students who are working full time, we recommend completing one course per quarter.   Students who are working with Windows at their jobs on a daily basis could complete more courses per quarter.
2. Enroll online or in-person.
   • Go to the De Anza College Home Page for enrollment times, dates and procedures.
3. Students attending distance learning courses CIS 170D must complete orientation as follows.
• Attend on-campus (highly recommended) or an online orientation.
• For orientation dates/times, see our Orientation Page.
4. Purchase Course Materials.
• Textbooks can be purchased through the De Anza’s Bookstore. See our Texts Page for more information on required course texts.
• Enrolled students who cannot view or record the TV broadcast, can purchase the course on videotape from the De Anza’s Bookstore.
• The De Anza College Bookstore provides "Textbooks By Telephone" service to Distance Learning students. See the De Anza’s Bookstore for more information.
5. Missed the Enrollment Deadline? If there is space in the class, you can add the class at Orientation.
6. Missed Orientation?
• Students who miss the in-class orientation can obtain an add code my emailing Sherbymark@deanza.edu.
• Students who miss the in-class orientation must complete the alternate orientation.
• Alternate orientation instructions and course syllabus can also be obtained from personnel at the Distance Learning Center located at Learning Center West room 102.
