De Anza College enrolls hundreds of Distance Learning Windows 2000 students each quarter. Our students have reported the following benefits from attending our Distance Learning Windows 2000 courses:

  • Students can learn Windows 2000 from their homes without having to travel to the De Anza campus.
  • Our Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server courses will soon be broadcast on KCSM TV (Channel 60), which is available to homes in thirteen Bay Area Counties. KCSM does not require cable subscriptions because it reaches most Bay area residents who have standard TV antennas. For KCSM broadcast times, check the the De Anza Distance Learning web site and select the "TV schedule" button.
  • The Windows 2000 broadcast is also offered through local Bay Area cable stations. For broadcast times and channels, check the De Anza Distance Learning web site and select the "TV schedule" button.
  • Soon, students living outside the Bay Area can purchase our distance learning TV courses on video tape from the De Anza bookstore.
  • Soon, students can receive extensive Windows 2000 course Tutor support both on and off campus.
  • Students can watch the videotapes at home and perform steps on their home computer for hands on experience.
  • Students can participate in class listserv and through E-mail can obtain answers to difficult technical questions.
